Everyday From Right Now: TEASER

As I was packing for my trip I realized two very important things.
The first was that I needed a better pair of shoes, not flip-flops, seeing as I will be going both hiking one day and to Knott's Berry Farm on another. The second? If I was intending to post Chapter 5 as soon as I got back, then you guys wouldn't be getting a teaser for it, unless I posted it tonight.

And so, lol, I have taken a break from the chaotic packing of my duffle bag to give you all this teaser for Chapter 5:

***

...Ron was staring up at the sky, but his leg was bouncing nervously up and down. Hermione saw this, and reached out and placed her hand on his knee. Far from calming him down however, he jerked in surprise.

”Sorry,” Hermione said, snatching her hand away and feeling her face grow warm.

“Oh, no, it’s okay,” he said, his ears going red as well. “No, I was just sort of lost in thought, that’s all, you just surprised me.”

He smiled nervously at Hermione, but she only managed to raise a corner of her mouth in response, before she folded her hands tightly in her lap and stared at them.

Nice one, Ron groaned inwardly. Way to screw up again.

“It’s starting,” Ginny whispered suddenly, her eyes on the front of the castle. Ron and Hermione looked behind them; coming down the lawns in one long line, seemed to be a lot of glistening shapes, followed by a small crowd of people...

***
It's a much more engaing chapter than some of the previous ones, lol. And thanks you guys who have already reviewed Chapter 4 - I may as well start you replys now since I'm online. ;)
Thanks also for your well-wishes for my trip. Again, I promise that as soon as I'm home I'll put up Chapter 5!
Ciao.

Everyday From Right Now: Chapter 4

LINK: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3725509/4/

Here we go, Chapter 4! Short intro, lol, let’s get to it:

-- Remember me mentioning that sleepless night I had over wands (oo-er!)?? Well, that same night made me doubt whether or not Hermione still had that amazing bag of hers; I thought when the Snatchers came, it was gone. And I couldn’t remember, so I of course cracked open DH. And, nope. She still had it. Lol, thank goodness, for her quick thinking and socks! I mention that trust purse in this and future chapters. And might I add, that as a girl with a bit of a bag fetish herself, I soooo wish I could have a bag like that, LOL.

-- If you want to call anything a filler chapter, this would be the one, lol. But only slightly, as there are a few things I touch on here that come up in a few chapters.

-- As I said in my author’s note, I really wanted to bring Ginny back into the story. Who else missed her in Book 7?!? I know I did, so I used this chapter to fully get her back into play.
And c’mon, you KNOW she’d be all excited about Ron and Hermione, it isn’t as cliché as everyone thinks. ;)

-- Also, the way I see it, since we’ve got this circle of four best friends, consisting of the two couples, there was bound to be some story time between them all, catching each other up. This chapter is full of it, mostly to get it out of the way. There’s a tad more in Ch.6, but after that, each couple is left more or less to their own devices.

--To my Harry/Ginny demanders: There, now, see? Lol. They’re back together and they’ve kissed…and I’m still not done yet. We all know I’ve promised you Ch. 5, which contains a lot more, I promise

That’s about it. I’s a fairly simple chapter, but the next one is mighty heavy as I tackle the Hogwarts Memorial, some more Ron/Hermione, and your dash of Harry and Ginny.

I know the tentative schedule says that I won’t be posting until the 5th of Sept…but I was thinking tonight and….Awwww, I just love you all too much to do that to ya!

Therefore, whenever I get back from my trip, and get all caught up on sleep and rested from driving (because let me tell you, L.A. traffic can be KILLER), I’ll go ahead and put up the next chapter. By my guesses, that’d be either Saturday the 1st or Sunday the 2nd.

Enjoy Chapter 4 with the knowledge that you’ll have the next Chapter in a mere fix or six days! ;)

EFRN: Chapter 4 Teaser

I'm awake, and its techinically Sunday, so I'll post now! ;)

Well, this was tricky to choose, lol. There's lots of silly lines in this chapter, so I wanted to keep those a surprise, as well as the other plot points. But I got an alright one, I believe!

Without further ado, here is your Teaser for Chapter 4:

***

The absence of life other than her and Ron in the common room now explained, Hermione tried to remain composed and shook her head as she clambered out of bed and reached for her beaded bag to get out more clothes.

“Oh shoot,” she said, as she summoned another set of clothes from the endless purse. “I forgot to give Harry and Ron something else to wear.”

"That’s okay,” Ginny said dismissively, “I came in earlier and got some out for them. I’m borrowing this shirt of yours though, alright? Now,” she said seriously, before Hermione could comment on any of that information, “what did he do?”

“What did who do?”

“Hermione, you can’t pull off naïve very well. Ron. What did Ron do to cause a row and remind us forcibly about your earlier years here?”

“Oh, well-” Hermione said, hesitating as she pulled off her night clothes and changed into a clean shirt. She realized that she hadn’t fully told Ginny yet about her and Ron. “Well, I have to sort of fill you in about other things before I can explain it.”

Everything is still going according to the schedule; the full chapter will be posted on Tuesday!
Catch ya then!

EFRN: Schedule for Next Week (And Beyond)

For off, just got to say that I've been getting your reviews to Chapter 3, and you all truly never cease to assure me that I'm doing good. Love ya!

But, as per usual, I'm sure you want to know when the next chapter is coming. Well, tonight I was given the final plans from a friend who I'm going to go visit next week. I knew that it was going to be a few days and that I'd have to either post before or after I got back.

Sure enough, I will be visiting my friends from next Wednesday to Friday, maybe even until Saturday, depending on when I decide to drive home. So I had a decision. Do I delay posting Chapter 4 until Saturday, or give it to you early and post on Tuesday?

As a reader, I knew I'd want it ASAP. As an author, I don't want to post too soon and run out of material. So, I've compromised by bringing in a few other things.

Therefore, here is the schedule for the next few days and into the next week:

Sunday, Aug. 26th: Teaser to Chapter 4

Tuesday, Aug. 28th: Chapter 4 published

Friday, Aug.31st or Saturday, Sept. 1st: Ooooh, something *special*

Note that I will continue spoiling you for the next few days as I give you a chapter two days earlier than I would have planned, lol. BUT...These next two dates are tentative:

Monday, Sept. 3rd: Teaser to Chapter 5

Wednesday, Sept. 5th: Chapter 5

I've got to warn you though, I don't want to reach the point where I run out of chapters to post, so after this, I may be slowing down a bit. No, not with three weeks in between chapters. But perhaps an even week/ 7 days. That's why on the Saturday, you'll get something to tide you over before I get to Chaper 5 and start getting on a tighter schedule.

Nothing's concrete, it all just depends on how much I have completed, compared to what I still have to write, mixed in with whatever life throws at me. And once I'm back in school, things will get even trickier, I'm sure.

Just know that I'm always thinking of the readers! lol. I want to give you the chapters as quickly as you want them, but I have to have a bit of a hold on it.

Everyday From Right Now: Chapter 3

LINK: EFRN: Chapter 3

Omg, you guys. I woke up this morning to find that my wireless internet connection in my laptop wasn’t working! I was practically in a panic! I knew I had promised you all a Chapter! Luckily, my mild skills with technology got the connection back, so I’m currently zooming as fast as I can online, hoping it doesn’t go out until after I post. *le sigh* Curse our reliance on technology!

Thoughts on Chapter 3:

-- Not a whole lot to say about this chapter, it’s fairly straight forward:-- This being a Ron/Hermione story, you were bound to run into the first all Ron/Hermione chapter at some point. And Chapter 3 is it.
Together they may be, but there’s still a lot for these two to go through together. There’s a lot ahead for them: everything from having good old rows, to long over due talks, and of course, taking their friendship to the next and - I can’t shy away from it – more physical level.

This chapter, I would say, is a combination of those three elements, as they tackle the immediate points of their first kiss, the Lavender incident (bleh, lol) , how they feel about each other, and a certain book about charming witches. :)

It’s got a bit of fluff, a little dash of drama, some humor and even some really mushy lines. I’ve done my best with keeping them in character- though you have to admit, it’s not Ron/Hermione without some fluff, lol!

I'm really excited to see how you all feel about this chapter. And as for Chapter 4 and when it'll be posted....hmmm...I'll check out your reviews, lol. Depending on those (and whether or not pesky life gets in the way again) I may post a few days early (like this week). Otherwise, it hits the schedule and will be up no later than the 30th.

Before The Next Chapter...

I just finished re-reading and finalizing the next Chapter to Everyday From Right Now. And I can't wait to post it!

But because I didn’t have much to say about Chapter 3, I’ll leave you first with a few things regarding the story as a whole:

-- No your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you, that is indeed a new summary on the story. To be honest, summaries are never my strong point. I actually had a list of 8 before choosing the one that the story debuted with.

Now however, as I’ve been writing along, I can see how the story is taking shape, so I decided that the summary need to be more…hmmm…which word to use? Effective? Expressive? Accurate? …Well, anyways, I just decided that it needed to be more than what it was. Hence the change.

-- I haven’t said it out right yet, but I wanted to let you know…A LOT of the story is already written. Yup, just sitting on my laptop’s hard drive. As eager as I am (and you all are) to just post a chapter a day, I don’t want to do that. There’s two reasons for that.

The first is that it helps me avoid a time where I run out of stuff to write, and then it leaves the readers hanging for new stuff. Back in the day, for my first story, I posted as I wrote, but that backfired when I would hit a months worth of writer’s block. I never liked leaving people hanging. So I learned that what I can do is write about half the story and then begin publishing, that way, even if I hit a block, I can still do postings, including spreading those out for as long as it takes to start writing again.

Luckily for you kids, I haven’t hit a block yet, and I just keep adding another chapter to my stock (lol) every few days. I hope to never leave you hanging for longer than a week. …but if I ever hit a block, I will make due with the chapters I have until I start writing again.

The second benefit to this whole having nearly half of the story written business is that since I am now getting your reviews of the first chapters, I just have to tweak what I have to fit your demands, instead of having to start all over. In fact, your reviews from Chapters 1 and 2 inspired a big plot line having to do with Fred’ funeral, a bit more obvious moments of Harry/Ginny, and some decisions about whether or not the trio is going back to Hogwarts for a final year. When I can see what you want earlier, I can make sure you don’t get it too late.

-- And I’ve had one person ask me how long I think this story will go. And quite honestly, I have NO idea. Lol, at all. If I had to guess….I’d say at least 20 Chapters. At Least. Seriously. When I titled the story “Everyday” From Right Now, I had no idea how accurate that was going to be.

Will I cover Nineteen Years? LOL…well…right now, I’ll say no. …but hey, there’s always a chance at sequels, right? ;D

Technically, it is already Thursday, lol, and while I could post the chapter for you now, I really want to try finishing the one I’m working on before my bedtime in another hour (at 2am, lol, gotta love summer).

So, as per usual, I’ll be updating mid-day…probably in another 10-12 hours, lol. 12pm-3pm PST.

Catch you later!

Everyday From Right Now: TEASER

Here is your Teaser for Chapter 3:

***

"George asked you about whether or not you had used a book. And something about tactic ten. What was he talking about?”

Cursing the fact that Hermione’s spying abilities were enough that she had heard that part of the conversation, Ron sighed. “It’s nothing, don’t worry about it.”

Hermione raised an eyebrow. “Ron,” she said seriously, removing her hands from his shoulders and instead crossing her arms in front of herself, “what book?”

Already missing her touch, Ron frowned at her sudden change in posture. “It’s not like you’d want to read it,” he said in a feeble attempt to try to make her loose interest.

She looked closely at him, and then said slowly. “Alright. If you won’t tell me about the book, then will you tell me about the locket?”

Ron’s eyes widened, and he convulsively tightened his grip on Hermione, who noted this similar reaction to the one he had had earlier over the same topic.

“No,” he said.

“To which one?”

“Both,” he said vehemently, removing his hands from around her and instead running one nervously through his hair.

***

...*GRIN*

Sort of makes me wish it was already Thursday, lol. I can't wait to hear everyone's reactions to this entire chapter.

Bonus Hint: It is PURE Ron/Hermione. XD

EFRN: Review Responses

Life intervenes! It’s not the right time frame, but at least it’s still on Tuesday (well, for Pacific Time it still is, lol)!!

Alright, here are the issues I wanted to touch on from the first two chapters…and in general:
***
Dumbledore (Ch.1): You guys who approved have no idea how relieved I was to hear that you thought that he was very in-character. I’ll admit it and I don’t hide it: I never really liked Dumbledore, like in the series. Nope. He lost me in Book 5. I never (and don’t) hate him; I just was always reluctant to trust him. And after Deathly Hallows, I feel fully justified in doing that!

Anyways, I was either thinking that I was going to screw up his character because I didn’t like him, or I was going to make him sound like a fortune cookie. I spent quite a bit of time trying to tweak it just right. So hearing that I was able to get your approval on him was really, really great.

***

Ron and George (Ch.2): Without giving too much away, those of you who heard what JKR had to say in her post-DH web chat may be able to see where I’m going with this. Either way, I am making it a very persistent plot point, the whole Ron being there for George thing.

But rather than just throw it in there, I wanted to make sure it was believable…hence Ginny pointing out to Hermione how close they actually are. …Truthfully, lol, that was really me pointing out to the readers how I saw Ron’s relationship with the twins. Afterall, they were close in age and remember in Book 4 when Harry and Ron had their fight? And who did Ron hang out with? Exactly. The twins.

All in all, I like how it’s coming along and how everyone is pleased by it.

***

Harry/Ginny: Patience, dear people, patience. Lol. That stuff is on the way. Though I do point out…this is mainly a Ron/Hermione fic, no matter how much other post-DH plot points I cover. Harry and Ginny will of course have their time, and you will see some of it, but not as much as I’ll give for Ron and Hermione (at least not yet). It’s nothing personal and it’s not like I don’t like the ship. It’s just that I have to wait to see when I can write them in…and that’s usually when I’m done with the Ron/Hermione or a different plot point.

More often then not you’ll see it casually slipped in and then they get their own screen time in Chapter 5. …I am toying with the idea of their own chapter though…”toying with” being the key phrase….though in my experience, lol, it means it’ll happen. But it’s not for awhile…definitely in one of the teen chapters (13, 14, 15 etc.)

***

Sharing Tissues: This is perhaps one of my favorite comments. No, lol, I’m not taking pleasure in making you all cry. It’s just that it truly reassures me that I am bringing out the right emotions for you. In fact, there’s quite a few chapter that I myself was teary during, and I wrote them! Lol. So know that we are crying together.

***

The New Wands (Ch.2): THANK GOODNESS you guys took to this. *whew* Lol.

***

Ron/Hermione: Alright. Really need to talk about these two, lol. They’re only the reason I began this in the first place. :P

I am a staunch Ron/Hermione shipper. I have been for years. And I am beyond thrilled they are together, still celebrating actually. However, there’s a lot to do with them, and I’m going to cover it all. Together they may be, but they do have some stuff to go though, of course. Without giving stuff away, I want you to know that these two really go through the ringer, lol.

I’ve gotten a few comments that are glad that I’m not too over dramatic with them. …but I have to admit…I will, do, and have tackled that. But, when I do it, I want you to know that I strive soooooo hard to keep them in character and if I think the drama is too heavy, I quickly shift to a lighter mood or even go a bit fluffy before I hit the drama again. I also have done the all too common plot points of them confessing to each other and/or talking about what happened in the past…but I’ve tried hard to avoid all outside influence, and just wrote it how I saw it.

They’re going to bicker. They’re going to comfort each other. They’re going to go from being angry with one another to holding each close…sometimes in the span of a few paragraphs sometimes over a chapter or two. They have to work on some things, where as others will come easy. There may be some jealousy, there will some challenges and scary moments…but in the end, they’re still going to have each other. …You know, sort of how it all happened in the series. XD

All that being said…I’m not going to break them up. NO. WAY. Please. You think after seven years, I’d want them to break up!? I think not. I may have them fight, or say mean things, or, I don’t know, ignore each other. But no one is going to cheat on each other. No one is going to get upset and storm out and come back three years later. By my calculations, there is a seven year period that is post-DH and before they get married, so no, lol, no one is leaving anyone for long.

On that same coin…I’m definitely not rushing anything…I dare you to find the words “I Love You” before, like, the first dozen chapters. You can’t rush that stuff in real life, and I’m not going to in the fic.

It’s like the title says. This is “Everyday,” for them. If I have to go one day at a time and 100 chapters (*is amused by the thought*) then I will.

***

…Those I believe were all the pressing matters. *Whew!* Told ya I can talk a lot. XP

My next post is going to be much simpler…I’m trying to keep as clear of a schedule for Thursday so I can post Chapter 3 then, but it may conflict with another responsibility I may have that same day.

Sooooooooo, tomorrow, Wednesday, I’m posing a teaser for you all. Thursday or Friday comes the Chapter.

Last things to mention:
1) I hope your all okay with my forms of response, be them one-on-one, in the blog, or briefly mentioned in my Author’s Notes.
2) I was thinking of maybe reworking the summary for EFRN. Anyone opposed to this or have ideas??

Alrighty! See ya tomorrow with the teaser!

EFRN Double Post: Regarding the Reviews and a Schedule

My goodness. I am not kidding when I say that I am really amazed and grateful that I’ve gotten such a warm response for Everyday From Right Now. Unbelievable; thank you to all my reviewers!!

As I’ve mentioned several times before, I don’t really like long Author’s Notes. I don’t know why…I guess I like thinking that what matters is the story; anything else I have to say doesn’t need to clutter it. This is why I respond to my reviewers with the reply/email option instead of listing it with a story chapter. It’s also why I do those huge commentary posts in here as well; I always want to make sure the readers now where I’m at with my writing and/or why I chose to do something the way I did. … And it’s one of the reasons I started this blog in the first place, lol, because I know me, and I LOVE to talk. ;)

As I was reading my new reviews from Chapter 2, I realized that things were being echoed and that I wanted to address them as a whole for everyone, but there was quite a lot to say. …As you will see when I post Chapter 3, even while I did mention the Harry/Ginny issue, it was not as fully as I wanted to (like I will here).

So, it seems I have found something new to post, in addition to my commentaries, teasers, and schedules. I will now have responses to the reviews. But…it is now 1:30 am (PST) and I’ve been hard at work writing for awhile (for EFRN, of course) so I’m going to have to save the responses for another day so I can go to sleep.

What I will leave you with, is my schedule for the next few days, time permitting of course, but the posts in the blog should appear in this order:

Tuesday: Review Responses on Chapters 1 and 2. Yes, I’ll touch on Ch.1 a bit as well and hit on Ch.2 as much as I can.

Wednesday: If I have to hold Chapter 3 until Friday (i.e. Life intervenes) there will be a teaser posted. If all signs are go, and Thursday is clear for updating…then the chance is 50/50…

Thursday/Friday: Chapter 3 will be posted, with commentary to follow.

Keep an eye out for everything…I usually update the blog mid-day (12pm-3pm PST) or in the evening (6pm-8pm PST), just fyi. :D

Ciao for now!

Everyday From Right Now: Chapter 2

LINK: EFRN: Chapter 2

It's Posting Day!

Below we have my commentary and other thoughts over some aspects of the chapter, for your curiousity. And Chapter 3 is going to be up even quicker this week. I went over Chapter 2 last night and realized that while it does get out more details and answer more post-DH questions....there's very little else. As in, very little Ron/Hermione, which was my whole point for writing this story in the first place! lol.

Soooooo, you can just zoom through Chapter 2, and I'll have Chapter Three up either the 23rd or the 24th (Thursday or Friday). ...well, don't zoom too fast, or you'll miss what little R/Hr is in there! ;P

So, here's my ramblings, lol. Enjoy:

-- This would be the first transitional chapter of the story- so soon, I know! I slipped in as much Ron/Hermione as I could, but as much as I love them, needed to focus on the plot for a little bit. There was a bit though…and to make up for it’s lack of it, Chapter 3 will be posted much earlier (Thursday or Friday), and with so much Ron/Hermione it borders on mindless, lol. ;)

-- As you see, I have begun addressing the trio’s possibilities of how to compensate for their missed final year of school. I have 11 complete chapters right now, and nothing has been decided yet…actually…for Harry it has. BUT! Lol, I can’t give anything away…just wanted to acknowledge that, yes, I will indeed be tackling this issue as well.

-- I am slowly bringing Ginny back into the story. Obviously. She’s a great character, and lots of fun to write- and I think we have similar attitudes, lol, so it helps. I’ve never been big on Harry/Ginny, but trust me, it will be appearing in due time…

-- I am in total denial that Fred Weasley has died. Not until I see the funeral. …of course, I know it’s been written in other fics, but I had a feeling that I’d need to do it myself. It’s like therapy in a sense, lol.
So, to prolong the time where I actually had to write the actual funeral *SOB* I decided to do the entire thing. Have the Weasely’s plan it out, not just decide it simply, that’s where you get their conversation about where to bury Fred.

-- I was falling asleep last Thursday night, after completing the Chapter entitled “The Wandmaker” from Deathly Hallows (I’ve been re-reading), when a sudden thought made me sit straight up in bed: OMG. Ron and Hermione don’t have their wands anymore!
I had forgotten this fact. Their own wands had been left behind at Malfoy Manor and taken by Snatchers. Ron uses Wormtail’s, Hermione uses Bellatrix’s. I had to check the book a million times to make sure, and as far as I can see, that holds true for the rest of the book.

And quite frankly, I didn’t want that. Soooooooo, TA-DA! I came back to an already long ago completed Chapter 2 and made them get new wands. Ollivander made Luna a new one after all. And I mean, c’mon, Harry got his wand back, why shouldn’t Ron and Hermione?

I actually toyed with the idea of having Harry, like, lol, I don’t know, using the immense power of the Elder Wand to just summon their wands back, but when I thought about it, I didn’t know if that seemed believable enough…and I really didn’t see anyone in Malfoy Manor holding the wands safe. I truly think they would’ve snapped them in half or something, especially Bellatrix.

And I didn’t pick anything random. …I seriously (yes, seriously) looked up a bunch of different wand trees and what the wood symbolized and then tried fitting them accordingly. I mean, that’s what JKR did, she says so on her site.

Why did this matter? Why did I care so much? Did I have to do it?No, I didn’t. …But you will find that I don’t take any detail lightly in my stories. I’m not going to just throw anything in there; I want it to be as close to canon as possible, making it fit the story lines of the series.
…and I’m slightly anal and have OCD. Details are my LIFE. XD

-- And for my fellow die hard Ron/Hermione supporters: I’ve been easing gently into the Ron/Hermione interaction so far. You know, hugs and gentle words. But next chapter…I sort of take the plunge and…lol…well…you’ll see….XD

See you guys at the end of the week. ;)

Everyday From Right Now: TEASER

So a few people have let me know that they are indeed looking forward to the next chapter of 'Everyday From Right Now' and that they are keeping an eye out for anything I may post about it.

I must say that I felt very encouraged and spoiled by such kind reviews! And true to my word, now that I know that people are reading, instead of updating on Wednesday, I will be updating mid-day Monday...after 12pm and before 3pm is the time frame. :)

The same thing will happen. I'll post the chapter and also do a post here with any commentary I have about it, or things that may help you to understand why something was in the story, that also seemed to help last time.

But, lol, I do recall also saying that I would most likely be posting Teasers before I post a chapter. And guess what? Here it is!

Everyday From Right Now: Chapter 2 TEASER:

***

Ron could see her struggling with herself, and shook his head. “Hermione, don’t make me repeat what Charlie said.”

“But-“

Without any hint of embarrassment, Ron reached out and placed his fingers lightly over Hermione’s mouth, sending her voice into immediate silence and her heart immediately racing.

“You don’t have to say anything if you don’t want to,” he told her gently. “But I’m going to tell you right now that I don’t think I can do this without you.”

She stared at him, noting how often they had done this and realizing that each time she could hardly bring herself to tear her eyes from his.

.... See you on Monday. *grin*

Everyday From Right Now: Chapter 1

LINK: Everyday From Right Now: Chapter 1

As promised! The first chapter to Everyday From Right Now has been published!

As I've said before, I don't like doing huge and rambling author's notes, so this is where you'll get to see me go on and on in detail:

-- Compared to the other chapters I already have written, Chapter 1 is pretty short. About half the length of some other chapters. But I think that's usually expected for a first chapter, to set up the basic foundation of the story without giving it all away.

-- As for rating the fic, I've set it a K+ for now, but if some of the things I'm thinking of end up coming through, I may bump it up to T just to be safe. We'll have to see....

-- I can't stress enough how much I have tried to keep things original in my story. I knew it would be a challenge to write in the explosion of post-Deathly Hallows stories and to not appear to be taking ideas from other writers. This is why, again, as I've said, I've sort of removed myself from even reading fan fics lately. I didn't want to end up taking the same thing.

-- I also don't really like setting review quotas on my readers either, holding the next chapter hostage until I meet 50 or 60 reviews. Nope, I'm much more straight forward. I post one chapter each week, give or take a few days. That being said, Chapter 2 will be up no later than next Wednesday. For sure. :)
The only thing that will make me post earlier than that would, yes, be reviews, but not the number of them, the content of them. I'd much rather have 4 reviews that praise my style than 50 reviews that only say "ZOMGPOSTMOREIAMLIEKDYING." I want you to review my story because you are truly eager to see what else is in store, not so I can have a million reviews, you know?

-- This is also the first time ever that I have begun posting a story before the whole thing is done and written. I discovered early on that this story wasn't one that was fitting into my carefully laid plans, and I know even now that it's going to be fairly long. I would've been posting next year had I waited, lol! I have a stock of 10 chapters, so hopefully I don't end up without a chapter to post, especially when I love posting one a week without fail.

Well, there you have it. My first thoughts on my first chapter. Be sure to keep an eye on this blog a bit more now that a story has been started- I haven't decided yet, but I may do reader responses here so that they can be more thought-out. Also, I may be posting some teasers of the next chapter here as well! Those I'd probably do on Friday or Saturday....hmmmm. ;)

So, time flies! I must hurry and post the chapter before I have to go out and do errands for my mom. *sigh* The joys of life, competing with my writing for my attention.

Enjoy reading. And see you soon!

Slight Delay

For those of you expecting Everyday From Right Now to be premiering this week, I'm sorry today that there's be a small change in plans.

You know how life goes, a few things came up unexpectedly this week. Add that to the release of the book Eclipse, the latest in the Twilight series, and I've been a tad jumbled. Lol.

To compensate, I'm going to put in a bit extra work these next few night, making sure all the chapters I already have done are up to par, and I hope to finish a solid 10 by the weekend.

I promise, Promise, PROMISE, that I will start putting it up early next week. Most likely on Tuesday or Wednesday again, I favor those days.

So sorry for the delay! But it is only to ensure that I can give the readers my best work possible. You'll see! :) Thanks for your patience and see you soon...

Announced: Everyday From Right Now

As promised, here is the title and summary/teaser to my newest FanFic:

Everyday From Right Now

”We’ll go together?” she asked him. “I wouldn’t have it any other way,” Ron replied, as he and Hermione walked out hand in hand, ready to meet every day of their new beginning side by side, starting right now.

I have five complete (and pretty long) chapters done and have lots I'm still writing. However, I will most likely begin publishing this Tuesday or Wednesday in order to start getting it out there and hearing what people think.

I'm really excited about it, lol! I do hope it works out...

Coming Soon...

Based on the fact that the hit counter on my page as suddenly skyrocketed since I published both "The Moment" and "The Other Moment," I am going to assume that people are in fact checking my blog for updates.

And who am I to dissapoint the readers? :)

(Actually, it's a good habit for you to have. I've never been one to leave long winded Author's Notes on every chapter, feeling that its the actual story that people want to get to. So if anything, this is probably where I'll have the most communication with the readers for awhile...)

Anyways. I am happy to say that I have been pretty busy the past few nights, working on my next project.

I'm sort of still trying to decide on a title, but I can definately tell you all that it is a post-Deathly Hallows story, starting directly at the last line of the book, at the moment going one day at a time, and of course, there is a huge focus on Ron and Hermione's new relationship.

...Yes, yes, I am well aware of the numerous stories already like this. They are really great by the way, the ones I've scanned.

Of course, this makes it a bit difficult for me, because if I end up writing something similar to someone elses, and they posted theirs first, then I know that looks bad. This is exactly why I haven't really been reading those stories. I repeat: I have NOT been reading a lot of these. Some I do, but it is more to see what is being done so that (A) I don't write it the same way or (B) if I have already done something similar, I can make sure that my version is different or (C) see what hasn't been done yet, and try to tackle it.

Even with these constraits, I am having a great time writing right now, and hope to begin publishing it very soon. It'll be a BIG first for me, beginning to post when the full story isn't written (its basically, planned, but not written), but I really want to start getting this one out there.

In another day or so, I will be posting a small teaser, most likely the title and the summary...that is, once I can decide on both of those, lol. And soon after will come the story.

And hopefully, I'll see you there. :)
