Behind the Scenes Commentary
- My first Harry Potter fic in YEARS. Literally. I think the last one was in 2003!
- Deathly Hallows has broken through my writers block. I expect another few one-shots with similar themes (i.e. RON/HERMIONE)
- I knew I had a very small time frame from the book to work with, which is why I focus more on Hermione's thoughts then the action around them.
- It may be a stretch for some people to believe that Hermione thought all that in such a short time, but if you've ever been it a fast paced situation before, you do find that many thoughts to make it through your head.
- I think I re-read the scene on page 625 about 50 times for this, lol.
- By the way, as you can see, I didn't stretch this moment to a make out session, but I refuse to believe that it was a simple peck. The details hint at more, so I tried to bring that out. :P
- Also, I can not wait to take off all the spoiler warnings! They're clogging my story! lol. I kid, I kid, I don't mind 'em...but still...in another few weeks they are totally coming OFF.

Deleted Scenes
- None! Wrote this one straight through from start to finish. Been awhile since I've done that.

Making it Work
- It just...did it on its own, lol. It actually came out longer than I had thought it would AND it was written in a tone I hadn't planned on. But I like the way it came out.

Overall
- I am very very happy with how this came out. I know that DH is bound to insipre lots of fics similar to this, but I figure its better to be on the front of the band wagon then being one of the ones that others try to knock off when its full. And this one is dedicated to all the R/Hr fans like me who have been waiting YEARS for this to finally happen! :)
